A Palestinian worker inspects a banner as it prints in the West Bank city of Ramallah September 13, 2011. A grass-root campaign supporting the upcoming Palestinian bid at the United Nations is gearing up for the diplomatic showdown at the United Nations later this month when Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to seek an upgrade of the Palestinians' U.N. status. The Palestinians hope to establish a state in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli-occupied West Bank, with Arab East Jerusalem as their capital. The banner reads: "The People want membership of a Palestinian state at the UN". Photo by Issam Rimawi
