Palestinian supporters of Hamas Islamist movement attend a rally to mark the 63th anniversary of "Nakba" (catastrophe) on May 13, 2011 in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Nakba means "catastrophe" in reference to the birth of the state of Israel 63 years ago in British-mandate Palestine, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 war over Israel's creation.
